- Unflavored gelatine, 3 tablespoons
- Apple juice or unsweetened apricot juice, 3 cups
- Granulated sugar,1 1/3 cups
- Lemon-lime juice, 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice, 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch, 2/3 cup
- Walnuts, 2 cups (chopped)
- Confectioners’ sugar, 1 cup
Instructions
Step 1
Using 1/2 cup apple juice, soften the gelatine. To concentrate the juice, boil it for 15 minutes with the sugar.
Step 2
Mix the lime and lemon juices, and add all but 1/4 cup cornstarch to dissolve it in the mixture. The gelatine mixture and cornstarch mixture should be added to the boiled juice and boiled for 10 minutes until very thick, stirring constantly. If necessary, add more lemon juice if it is too sweet.
Step 3
