How To Make Traeger Salmon
This salmon recipe is a very simple way to make a delicious and tender piece of salmon, for a simple and traditional dinner. Ingredients
- Salmon, 2 pounds
- Brown sugar, 1 cup
- Black pepper, 1 tablespoon
- Coarse salt, 1/2 cup
- Vodka, 1 cup
Instructions
Step 1
In a large resealable bag, place the salmon. Pour the vodka into the bag and massage until the salmon is saturated. Refrigerate for one to two hours.
Step 2
Combine dry ingredients and apply to salmon. Place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
Step 3
Using paper towels, rinse and dry the cure. Start the Traeger to smoke, leaving the lid open until the fire starts.
Step 4
Smoke salmon for 30 minutes on the grill. Raise the temperature to 225°F-230°F. Cook the salmon for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Take off the grill and serve immediately.
