- Chocolate chips (semisweet), 1 cup
- Butterscotch chips, 1 cup
- Light corn syrup, 3/4 cup
- Granulated sugar, 1 cup
- Creamy peanut butter, 1 cup
- Unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon
- Coarse sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 3/4 cup light corn syrup. Heat the mixture over medium heat.
Step 2
After it reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and stir in 1 cup of creamy peanut butter. Be sure that the peanut butter is at room temperature.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine six cups of original special K cereal. Stir in the peanut butter mixture.
