Ingredients

  • Roma tomatoes, 2 large (chopped)
  • Plain diced tomatoes, 2 (14.5 oz) Cans 
  • Jalapeños, 2 (seeded & chopped)
  • Fresh lime juice, 2 Tablespoons 
  • Cumin, 1 Tablespoon 
  • Minced garlic, 2 Tablespoons 
  • white onion, 1 large (chopped)
  • Salt to taste, 2 teaspoons 
  • Cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Fresh cilantro, 1/3 cup (chopped)

Instructions

Step 1

All ingredients should be placed in the blender in the order listed.

Step 2

Mix well all the ingredients until a consistent texture is achieved. Blend for a smooth consistency, chop for chunky salsa.

Step 3

If needed, add more salt or heat (red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper).

Step 4

To let the flavors meld, chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
