Why Turkey Lettuce Wraps Are Perfect for Meal Prep

Turkey lettuce wraps recipe components store beautifully when kept separate, making this dish ideal for weekly meal preparation. The cooked hoisin turkey filling stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and actually improves in flavor as the Asian seasonings meld together. Store the turkey mixture in airtight glass containers and wash your lettuce cups immediately after purchase, spinning them completely dry before storing in paper towel-lined containers. When you’re ready to eat, simply reheat the turkey filling in the microwave for 60-90 seconds and assemble fresh wraps. This separation method prevents soggy lettuce while maintaining the satisfying textural contrast that makes turkey lettuce wraps so addictive. For busy weeknights, portion the filling into individual containers alongside pre-washed lettuce cups, chopped scallions, and crushed peanuts for grab-and-go convenience.
