Ingredients
- Ground Beef (Don’T Choose the Lean One), 2 Lbs
- Water, 3 Cups
- Brown Sugar, 3 Teaspoon
- Chili Powder, 2 Tablespoon
- Hungarian Paprika, 3 Teaspoon
- Ground Cumin, 1 & ½ Teaspoon
- Black Pepper, 1 & ½ Teaspoon
- Dried Thyme, 1 & ½ Teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper, 1/8 Teaspoon
- Salt, 1 Teaspoon
- Garlic Cloves Minced, 2
Instructions
Step 1:
Put ground beef and garlic in a large pan and cook on medium heat for almost 6 – 8 minutes.
Step 2:
Make sure the heat reaches every side and cooks evenly by stirring continuously until it turns pink.
Step 3:
During this time, you can mash the beef with a potato masher to make it into fine crumbles.
Step 4:
There is no need to drain it. Add the seasoning and brown sugar to the mixture and stir well.
Step 5:
It’s time to add water and bring it to a boil.
Step 6:
Let it simmer for at least 50 – 60 minutes, and cook until the water has almost vaporized. Your sauce is now ready to serve.
Note
You can grind beef in the food processor for evenly ground beef.
