Ingredients

  • Chicken breast, 2
  • Fresh chili, 2
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Garlic clove, 2 
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper with lemon, 2 teaspoon
  • Thyme, 2 teaspoon

Instructions

Step 1

Remove all fat and cartilage from the chicken breast by washing it thoroughly. Cut the breast in half so that it is divided evenly between two.

Step 2

Place chicken breast in a glass dish. Add fresh chili peppers to the chicken by washing them, cutting off the stem and removing the seeds, and cutting them into small pieces.

Step 3

Mash a clove of garlic after peeling. Stir it into the chicken. Season the breasts with salt on both sides. Stir in the lemon pepper.

Step 4

Pour a little olive oil over the meat and sprinkle it with thyme. Rub all the sides of the chicken with your hands. Wrap the chicken in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Cook the chicken breast in a pan with oil for a few minutes on all sides. Place it in the ovenproof dish, cover it with aluminium foil, and bake for 30 minutes at 200 °C.

Step 6

It’s time to serve the baked chicken breast. These baked chicken Breasts can either be served whole or sliced, as you wish.
