Christmas is one of my favourite holidays. It’s the time that I get to spend with my family, friends, and loved ones. When I tell you I’m including a recipe for holiday food, you might be surprised. But, the truth is that I’m not including a super fancy or complex recipe. I’m doing this because I find that it’s simple, easy, and delicious. This is one of my favourite Christmas recipes that I make every year.
Today I am going to share with you a white Christmas recipe that is extremely easy and delicious. The creamy crackle of this slice is studded with jewels of glace cherries and dried fruit, making it appealing to look at as well as to eat. Whether you give it as a standalone gift or as part of a Christmas hamper, this is the perfect foodie gift.

How To Make White Christmas
White Christmas is a classic Australian dessert with an easy no-bake version. It makes a lovely addition to any Christmas dessert table and makes great homemade Christmas gifts thanks to its white chocolate, cereal, and tangy red cranberries. After collecting all the ingredients, let’s start making the White Christmas recipe.
Ingredients
- White chocolate melts, 500g
- Rice bubbles, 1 1/2 cups
- Coles glace cherries (halved), 100g
- Almonds (roasted and halved), 160g
- Sultanas, 160g
- Desiccated coconut, 1 cup
- Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a baking pan measuring 30cm x 20cm with baking paper.
Step 2
In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate over simmering water. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Step 3
Fill the prepared pan with the mixture, pressing down evenly with a large metal spoon. Place in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until set.
Step 4
Place the slice on a chopping board. Prepare the knife by dipping it in hot water. Cut the slices into squares. Enjoy!
