How To Make Publix Key Lime Pie

Publix key lime pie is a traditional dessert in the United States. It’s made with sweetened condensed milk, graham crackers, and key limes. Key limes are smaller than other citrus fruits because they’re cultivated specifically for this purpose. They have a very sour taste that makes the perfect contrast to the sweetness of this dessert! This recipe will ensure you get that classic taste every time.

Ingredients

  • Sweetened condensed milk, 2 cans (14 ounces each)
  • Key lime juice, 1 cup 
  • Graham cracker crust, 1 
  • Almonds (sliced), 1/2 cup
  • Whipped topping (your choice)

Instructions

Step 1

Combine the sweetened condensed milk and lime juice together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth.

Step 2

Spread the mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust. Refrigerate the lime pie for 3 to 4 hours, until it has completely firmed up.

Step 3

Toast the almond slices for about 1-2 minutes in a skillet. Transfer the almonds to a bowl and let them cool.

Step 4
