Subway Chipotle Southwest Sauce

It’s no secret that the Chipotle Southwest Sauce made at Subway is one of our favourite condiments, but did you know that it’s super easy to make yourself? Follow this recipe to discover how to make it. You’ll be enjoying this flavorful sauce on all your sandwiches and wraps in no time. It tastes great with everything from chicken and steak to black beans and brown rice. Don’t forget the tortilla chips for dipping!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 chipotle Chile in adobo pureed
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 tbsp Ground cumin
  • 1/4 tbsp Dried dill
  • 1/2 oz Lime juice
  • 1/4 oz Garlic
  • Kosher salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In the food blender, combine the Chipotles with the Adobo paste from the canned Chipotles.
  • Add all the other ingredients to the food processor or blender along with the Chipotle Chile and salt to taste.
  • Combine all of the ingredients in the blender to form a smooth paste. You must blend the paste until it reaches a uniform consistency. It will take about 2 to 3 minutes to achieve this smooth consistency. To get a lovely creamy mix, whiz the mixture for 3 minutes.
  • As soon as you have achieved the desired smoothness, you can empty your blender. pour the sauce into a squeezable bottle and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
