Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag (12-ounce) cranberries
  • 1 cup cranberry juice (or orange, apple, or any other juice combination)
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup (not pancake syrup!)
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice (you could also do orange zest, lemon zest, lemon juice—anything citrusy)

Instructions
 

  • Place 1 cup of cranberry juice (or other juice) into the bowl.
  • Add 1 cup maple syrup.
  • Orange juice (orange zest, lemon zest, lemon juice—and citrusy juice will work).
  • Turn the heat up high and stir until it boils.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes over medium-low heat, or until the juice thickens after it reaches a rolling boil. Remove the heat from the stove.
