Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 tablespoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 clove  Large garlic (minced)
  • 10  Fresh mint leaves
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Dash of fresh lemon (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons  Unsalted butter
  • 8 oz  Tender edges of dryad saddle mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup  Vegetable broth

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter in a small saucepan.
  • Sauté minced garlic until aromatic.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and chilli.
  • Optional: Pour wine and cover with a lid.
  • Simmer mushrooms until tender (7-8 minutes).
  • Juices will thicken, enhancing flavour.
  • Adjust juice consistency to your liking.
  • Transfer cooked mushrooms to a serving bowl.
  • Drizzle juices over dishes as a topping.
  • Before serving, add herbs or mint.
  • Season with salt to taste.

Notes

  • Slice them thin: These mushrooms can be tough, so thin slices make them tasty.
  • Sauté them: Cooking them quickly in butter or oil with some salt and pepper brings out their natural taste.
