Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn with husks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Louisiana-style hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  • Create a medium-low fire in a charcoal grill by building a fire or removing the grill grate. Fill a large pot with cold water and place the corn in it. After soaking for 15 minutes, let it stand for 1 hour.
  • Drain corn well. On embers, place corn and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until it is browned all over. Allow corn to cool.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small pot for 30 seconds to a minute. Add the honey and hot sauce.
  • Pull back the husks and remove the silk from the corn. Add salt to taste and brush corn with butter mixture.
